The reason behind my cover photo was that I wanted to capture the school as the sun came up. Depicting the meaning of a new “dawn” or a new day of the school seeing change. The secondary image I included on the cover was attached with anchorage that states “Interviews: Students tell all.” So, I included a photo of a group of Clearwater High students. The coverlines I chose were not only meant to hint to the reader of the contents inside the magazine. But they also were intended to be slightly dramatic to get people to want to read and to find out the truth. Honestly if I had more time, I really would want to improve my photos. For example, I love my cover photo I just wish at the time my photo taking skills were better so I could also get a better view of the school and the sunrising behind the school and not in the school parking lot. And I also think being able to get really good at taking photos would help improve the quality of the secondary image.
